SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Our client in Upson County is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This hands-on role partners closely with Construction, Development, FP&A, and Operations to ensure accurate job cost tracking, capitalization, and GAAP-compliant reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage job cost accounting, CIP schedules, and capitalization for construction projects
• Support month-end close related to construction, including accruals and reconciliations
• Partner with cross-functional teams to monitor budgets, commitments, and project spend
• Track fixed asset additions, transfers, and disposals in accordance with GAAP

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 4-7+ years of accounting experience; construction or project-based experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, multi-location and multi-entity accounting
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience required
